"That was Zen, this is Tao."/"That was then, this is now."
"The phrase “That was Zen, this is Tao” is attributed to Peter da Silva.
Zen has been defined as the art of
seeing into the nature of one’s ownbeing,
whereas Tao (according to the Oxford
English Dictionary Online,2004) is defined as
“the way to be followed, the right conduct, doctrine ormethod", right?

Hi there, I like your work very much and that last comment helped a lot in the comprehension of the pic. I admire the creativity and the whole art involved in every photo. Please write something every now and then just to let us know your interpretation of the photo, the creator’s point of view is always special. Thankx. Take care.

HaHa! That saying's really clever! Love the picture too!
By the way crashed, Tao does answer at times but as everyone can imagine, he is a pretty busy guy so you can't expect answers to everything!

I don't think the photographer should be trying to translate his work into words...he's saying what he needs to say in the photograph. I like to work in different media (photography, video, music, writing, etc.) and each medium says something that only it can say. Can you really say what a piece of music "means". Isn't it better to just listen to it? I am happy if viwers take something from the photo and are able to point it out, but in general I don't know what else to say:) Thanks for all your wonderful comments
